What is Silentwoods Collective?

Silentwoods Collective is a New Hampshire based 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to bring live music experiences to communities to inspire creativity, hope and human connection. Comprising award-winning musicians from across the country and the world, Silentwoods Collective presents free classical and baroque music concerts in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and New York. As we grow as an organization, we plan to expand our programming to include folk music, jazz, and pop music.

Why free concerts?

We believe music is a force for good that has the power to change lives, inspire hope and meaning, and can connect us more deeply to ourselves and our communities. As an artist run collective, we bring the power of music to places where it is lacking or needed most. Our programs range from traditional concerts in cafes, pubs, theaters, churches, special performances in hospitals and other healthcare facilities, workshops in public and private schools, and in conjunction with festivals like Hillsborough NH's "History Alive! Festival".  Our programs share the life affirming properties of music to build community and ignite inspiration and inquiry.

Why "Silentwoods"?

Our organization views excellent live music as a social service and empowers individual artists to touch people's lives through music. Without musicians dedicated to this service, our instruments (often made of wood) remain silent.

Silentwoods Collective is the proud fiscal sponsor of Concerts 4 Good, and Hudson Baroque.
